It could be, when Reef Entertainment releases its interactive take on Sylvester Stallone's Rambo franchise next year The studio, which is most recently credited for the Wii ports of Sniper Elite and Rogue Trooper, beat out other bidders in buying the rights to Rambo from StudioCanal, MCV reports. Reef will be able to develop titles based on the four movies in the series under the terms of the deal.
“I am a big fan of Sylvester Stallone movies, and when we had the opportunity to secure the video game rights from StudioCanal for the Rambo franchise, we had to grab it with both hands,” Reef Entertainment CEO Peter Rezon said in a statement.
Next year's release, coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, is described by Reef's Craig Lewis as a "triple-A title" that captures "the gritty atmosphere and full-on action [that] made the Rambo movies successful
